I'm with lordk, I've actually started to really like wearing a mask, especially now in the winter, keeps my big schnoz nice and toasty. Our union just sent those of us coming in to the office a bunch of k95 masks, they're black kind of pointy, so I feel like this plague doctor dude  |

I love wearing a mask. No one can see my dumb face or my dumb facial expressions. Total added mystery. Being in the Chicago suburbs 99.99% of people you see out and about are wearing masks. It's going to be weird going to a state where only half of the population is going to be masked up, but we will be avoiding as many people as we possibly can.

I personally will be doing everything I can to never spend money in places that went against science and refused to follow safety guidelines.I got a list of cities in Michigan I will never buy gas, coffee or snacks at when traveling across the state.

I’m also keeping track of what bars and breweries actually gave a fuck about safety.
Bought a membership at the brewery that seems to care the most about worker and costumer safety.

Temporarily returning to the US is one of my options Rright now, and normally I´d look at it as returning to somewhere where the people are a bit more, if not civilized, at least more educated when it comes to something like, oh say, dealing with a global pandemic.
Sadly that´s not the case. Think I´d have to go to a place like New Zealand if I wanted to feel like I was in a first world country with an educated and conscious population. Right now the US to me looks like third world mentality with first world standard of living. Good thing yáll don´t have some jumbo sized military and the desire to spray it all over the planet, or the world might be in some trouble.

There are plenty of communities in the US where everyone is always wearing masks, you just have to kind of stay there. I honestly haven't run across a single person in a store not wearing a mask or freaking out about mask wearing. I have no doubt that if I drove an hour south or an hour west that would no longer be the case.

I´m aware there are a good number of people taking this seriously and it´s not all bad there re: mask wearing. When I explain to people down here that there are some in the US who will mock you for wearing a mask and go so far as to deny you service if you don´t remove your mask when you walk in their store, and that mask wearing is 100% a political statement (as opposed to being about public health) they can´t believe it.
