Trying, I need to get it into gear. Space achieved, had an awesome hike before, during and after sunset. Tried out some new gear (base layers, headlamp, packable down puffy). Grabbed a local special release on the way home (Triptych- indistinguishable from magic) and it's pretty tasty.

A whole lot of empty bottles in the kitchen. We watched Fear and Loathing last night and it got me all charged up. I think I almost dipped into the stash. Things are just too fucked up right now for me to go to that headspace.

I wish they would put it in cans. I'd buy it a lot more often. The Edmund Fitzgerald might be the finest porter out there. At least at the $8.99 price point.

We got my dad a game called brewopoly which is monopoly but with brewpubs and breweries. Endumd Fitzgerald was the most landed on brew pub. Good beer, havnt had it in a while.

I have to go back to work tomorrow. I've had a really nice 4 days off, though, besides the drama that I'm only going to mention this one time. They are my family now and any other way of looking at it would be a cop out. Lady is having a rough time with her daughters and I just wish that the two of them and I could just sit down and talk about it. I love them and need to let them work it out. I have a hard time watching from the sideline, though. Okay, I've said too much. It must be the beer talking. Afternoon beer buzzes are nice. I should eat some breakfast.
