In today’s episode of “technology makes life easy”....
Made it through an episode of Falcon and Winter Soldier eventually, lost internet connection at least 6 times.
Had to take down some wall mounted speakers yesterday so the wall could get painted, someone previously had painted all over the frame of the speakers. I got them cleaned up, ended up dismantling one and repainting the frame white, get it all put back together and in the process notice that another speaker (which was not part of this project) isn’t working. It’s ceiling mounted so I get to work with both arms over my head while standing on a ladder, my favorite. Save that for tomorrow.
Wife decides she wants to reconfigure her office set up and doesn’t like her new docking station, so got to figure out how to make that happen.
I’ve had it today with “simple” things not working right, needing some random adapter, or involving 18 screws to dismantle..... in the middle of that the power screwdriver ran out of juice.
Tomorrow after getting COVID tested, everything better be on it’s best behavior, because I have a massive Slides deck to assemble and I’m frankly sick of everything being an issue.

I woke up and looked at my phone. It indicated that it was 7:51 and I thought to myself that I must not have set my alarm. I get up, open some blinds, drink a glass of water, and get in the shower. I'm about to shampoo when it occurs to me that Sunday hasn't happened yet. It's Sunday. Once when I was in HS and once just after college, I woke up, jumped out of bed, showered, got in the car and started to going to school/work only to realize that it was like 2 in the morning. That's a real kick in the ass when you can't even get sleep to bed but you have to wait 5 hours for the rest of the world to wake up. |

Only 3 mass shootings yesterday huh? Our flag has been at half mast for the better part of the last 2 weeks. Austin, Shreveport and Kenosha. 47 mass shootings since March 16th.

I just finished my first of three papers for my class. I'm going to try to score thr Chuck Sperry blotter before I hop on my bike and ride to lunch. I should get a few miles on my bike plus a 3 mile run for the day. So it's fkt for lunch!
