Student loan debt is too valuable to ever be forgiven. That slate will never be cleaned. But it’s the sentiment. Thoughts do count.

I'm not sure how to explain to you that the President doesn't just get to write checks, especially when the Courts tell him that he can't. Biden is literally the only President ever that tried to do this, the only other political party in this Country along with their hand-picked Supreme Court denied him the ability to do it and you're mad at him. It's also beyond disingenuous to suggest he isn't doing student loan relief because he's spending the money on bombs for Israel. Did you even read the article? He does when he wants to. "He tried, knowing the whole time he was going to lose" isn't admirable. I think it's cheap politics from a lifelong cheap politician. He says he wants to be "tough on Israel" but keeps giving them bombs. Why would I bother reading that shit, more of your "hahaha, young folks. Biden is actually good!" bullshit. He aint it, never fucking was.

You should probably just vote for Trump since you apparently think the president is all powerful over private banks and foreign military forces.

He aint it, never fucking was. Let me see if I have this right. He agreed to forgive student debt but had a secret plan with the Supreme Court to ensure that they would strike it down and he could save money for bombs to send Israel? Your preference would have been to tell you he wasn't interested in forgiving student debt at all? Our entire Government is for giving bombs to Israel, Bibi's speaking in front of Congress today. I agree with Dan, it sounds like you have decided that you're a Republican.

NY has forgiven 63.4 million in student debt. How does a state do that with federal loans? Perhaps a reimbursement scheme huh

The Supreme Court was never going to allow it. I think he's been shitty for most of his career and hasn't done most of what he said he was going to try to do. He also keeps lying about Israel and "being tough on them". Should I be okay with bombing the shit out of Palestine? Is that what YOURE saying? I don't think you understand modern Republican politics if you think that. Maybe check out some shit other than MSNBC and CNN dude.

To date the Biden-Harris Administration has also approved:
$56.7 billion for more than 793,000 borrowers through fixes to PSLF. $45.6 billion for 930,500 borrowers through improvements to income-driven repayment. $11.7 billion for 513,000 borrowers with a total and permanent disability. This includes providing automatic discharges off a data match with the Social Security Administration $22.5 billion for 1.3 million borrowers through closed school discharges, borrower defense, and related court settlements.

OK, continue to be mad at the only person who tried to forgive student loans. That makes a lot of sense, no matter what channels you watch. Am I ok with the bombing in Palestine? No, I'm horrified by it but I'm smart enough to understand that almost anyone that matters in our Government IS ok with it. Israel is one of our only allies in the Middle East and we will continue to let them do horrifying things to the Palestinians because of it. That's been true of both parties forever. I'm hopeful that sentiment is going to change with Kamala along with quite a few Dems skipping Bibi's speech tonight. I doubt it, but it's a good start.

Weird, I know almost nobody actually affected by this. Seems like a lot of inflated, hard to actually prove if it happened "promises" They approved it, but it didn't happen. They didn't get the job done. They didn't do it, Joe.

The student loan shit sucks. But everyone signed up for it. I would love to see it all forgiven but in my opinion it barely matters compared to the bombing of Palestine and the fentanyl crossing the border. Both of which are sick and evil.
