I got Phordle in 2 today! Wordle was 6, almost my first loss. I was 1 letter off for 4 straight guesses.

I got wordle, quordle and octordle today and I feel like a champion.
Yesterday's octordle stumped me. 6/8.

Wordle in three and octordle with 2 to spare. I lost quordle.

For any baseball freaks, WARdle is pretty awesome. You really have to know your players though.

Five Letter WORDS (Part I)

The days are getting longer and starting to stretch together AGAIN. Five letter WORDS. The thumping of time runs through my VEINS like a magnetic film reel of Steamboat Willie bouncing up and down and up and down over and over AGAIN WHILE BEING played on a stained, wafting bedspread draped over the fire escape in the alley behind an apartment building. The SHEET is constantly BEING broadcasted upon by an assorted ARRAY of QUADS with larger sets falling into oblivion like a game of Tetris.



The daybreak pastes my face with warmth over The Atlantic as I am mulling and pining across the endless sheets of vocabulary in my mind on my commute to work. I abandon all word GAMES that involve more or less than five letters. My fingers TRAIN for my PHONE like a warrior breaking free from BEING entombed in a casket ALIVE underground but armed only with a six inch PUNCH.



The guy in front of me jams his brakes. Fucker. A word game with a THEME from the bottom too? OKIMO. The Weezle appears a few short weeks later. Or was it a full MONTH? I binged the FIRST few WEEKS of the version with EIGHT words at a time like it was a Netflix show with infinite episodes set on repeat without the THING that pops up and asks you if you are STILL watching. Unlimited POWER. March FORTH with FORCE.



One day, I can’t recall when, the patterns just seemed to ALIGN. CLICK. Now, we have ADDED proper NOUNS. NAMES are officially in the MIXER. If "homies" is a lyric, will they do HOMIE? Why do they GOTTA/FRONT? PUTIN invades AGAIN.



I’m on the highway now. What did we ever do to THESE guys that made them so violent? SEVEN BELOW.

Did I see it AGAIN? Is it the seasonal affect disorder? Was I ever HAPPY? When did the decline START? Had it been happening so slowly that I just NEVER noticed before?

The guy in front of me on the highway BRAKE checks me again. I TAUNT him by miming that I am crying and pull alongside him in the RIGHT lane. He is laughing. I blow him a kiss. RINSE repeat.

I don’t stop. He follows me down the highway for a few MILES. What a hassle. No damage on my end. The police are at my door within two HOURS. They investigate. If I don’t cooperate then they will pursue a hit-and-run charge. I send the constable off with a copy of my insurance information.



The sun descends upon my side of the orb. Fading into the NIGHT once AGAIN, I DRIFT away to SLEEP, for tomorrow we will see the TIDES and plot the way the alphabet RIDES. Five letter WORDS.
