Edwin Diaz got Grammatica'd. He hurt his knee celebrating Puerto Rico's win over the DR in the World Baseball Classic. Glad my drafts don't start until next week.

T-Mobile just announced they're running their MLB.TV promotion back. It's free for the season if you're a customer.

It's MLB's streaming platform for all of the games. Your local teams will be blacked out but you would have access to the rest of the league.

Same here. Won't be able to watch the Nats or O's but I'll get everything else. MLB is trying to get rid of the blackout rules. One of the major RSN's that provide local baseball for at least 10 markets just filed Chapter 11. MLB is going to produce and distribute games to those markets, and they plan on removing the blackout rules in those markets. They hope to do it for the whole Country eventually.

The blackout rules are exactly why I never paid for mlb.tv. the broadcast area for the Nationals and Orioles stations didn't reach me but I was still in the streaming blackout zone. I couldnt get them over the air or stream or stream them. What a bunch of BS.

There are areas out West and in parts of the Midwest without a true hometown team that are blacked out in like 6 or 7 markets. If you live somewhere like Oklahoma, Nevada, Iowa or Hawaii you are fucked.

About 100 years ago I played in the " German-American Baseball League." We would travel around the country playing baseball with the caveat being we had to have two German born Nationals on the field at all times. Basically it was an Army PR kinda thing to promote good will amongst the German population. There were definitely some perks involved. Unmarried privates were not allowed to get Euro drivers licenses but I was because I was playing ball. One time we were out in the f'in Bavarian woods yet again andI got called back to the command tent. Thought I was in trouble for something. Turns out we had a tournament and I was sent back to base to play. Cool little things like that. I only played in high school but some of the dudes played college, minor leagues, etc. Really good ballplayers.
Well there was an Italian baseball league that was pretty serious that some guys were trying to get drafted into after they left the military. If you were good you could make $60 grand or so playing ball, which didn't suck in the 80's.
I was not one of those dudes. I got out, went on ter, saw 'ree a bunch. Rage.
But I wonder if that league still exists.

I'm T-Mobile Download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. It shows you all the deals you can get through them. You can’t sign up for the MLB thing until the 28th. If you’re so inclined, you can also get the MLS package. I was not so inclined.
