there is low grade tagging and even lower grade tagging, but I'd say Banksy is basically type ii tagging.

What if my tag is a large square that matches the background color?
If I paint my tag over your tag, I establish dominance and return the wall to its previous state.

Maybe I will file a police report like when my car got window smashed. The police auto respond Email "thank you for self reporting" Now that's police work! Case closed I'll just check with the boys at the crime lab. . . They got us working in shifts!! |

The dude I started the thread for was busted.
I guess the cops actually were working the case a bit. They took down 3 taggers that all had 40K or more in damages.
I wonder what the punishment will be. Likely not jail around here buy probably $$ and service

My friend in 2007 got caught in Eau Claire WI. Back then they took pictures, had a log, then faced you if you got caught.
They gave him 13 vandalism charges. Judge gave him 14 days or like 5 years probation. He did the time. That was near the beginning of a life of crime.
Cops in the 00s in a town with no crime really focused on busting kids for skateboarding, smoking, WEED, drinking
I wonder if kids get hassled today like 20 years ago
