I spent yesterday down with stomach flu. After you shit your brains out for 6 hours, body decides to try throwing up. I am haunted by the sounds I was making. Finally started feeling better this morning, which is good because I need to get on a plane to San Antonio tonight. Not looking forward to this flight. Airport hell, originally suppose to leave at 5:30, now 10:30, on a different flight, after 3 gate changes. Will arrive at like 1:30 in the morning and I’m guessing rental car place will be closed. Why does this need to be so hard? I was suppose to be using the metric system and have a flying car by now. Fuck almighty. Got to hotel about 4:00 AM, got up at 9:00 AM to head back to airport to get the rental car. Rest of day at Sea World. Feeling remarkably well for the fact I may pass out at any moment. Huge storm went thru and knocked out power a couple of times during dinner and had some pea size hail. Between that and the humidity and heat today …..I do not miss Texas. |

They're doing German spring fest on base today. Bier is flowing, goulash soup, pretzels, liderhosen, and dirndl. NATO Germans are hosting so it's not kitschy.
