American silver in women's mtb race. PFP taking the gold in dominant fashion and further cementing herself as one of the best ever. Hopefully the other French girl who crashed on the rocks isn't too badly injured. I actually watched this, that lady is a machine. she was also riding a hardtail while most of her competition was on full suspension. She's a legend. Multiple world championships in multiple cycling disciplines. |

Yeah she made up a bunch of places on the last few laps. Great ride. I felt really bad for the women in the road time trial who were crashing all over the place on a wet course that was basically unrideable.

Just finished the women’s mt bike replay.
Whoa.
The French winner continued to gain time the whole damn race, and looked cool a cucumber in a Sunday leasure ride thru the park.
And a determined ride from the US in silver, overcoming the early puncture and shutting down the attacks by the Swedish rider.

Dikec Yusuf, who only recently took up shooting after a particularly heated argument with his ex-wife, credits his success to his newfound passion for seeing his kids and a relentless drive to prove his ex wrong.
