I did have strawberry gelato today and it was good af I went to Germany in high school on a soccer trip. a group of friends went to a spot and the waitress offered Erdbeere eis. they got excited thinking they were getting the German version of bud ice or something similar. were very disappointed when a strawberry sundee came out. same trip me and another buddy went to a Cafe and I ordered a Pina colada at like 10 or 11 am. and then went to the bathroom. when i left the couple beside us told my buddy that I must not have know what I ordered. he assured them I did. it came out as this giant Pina colada with pineapple spears whipped cream and cherries. was pretty good. not sure what the couple was referring to, that ordered a drink or that I ordered that drink. either way 15 yr old me was satisfied. |

Dude asked me when I was coming back to finish and I told him I'm staying until I'm done and I'm not coming back. I missed a spot on one of the doors but I had already cleaned up so I left without saying anything. That's the last time I do work for a church.

The water is out. It's a regular enough thing here that most houses have a large reservoir tank (1000 liters), however it's been off for long enough that ours is almost empty. It's hot as fuck here and nobody has central AC. I got those little hotel type units in the bedrooms and the kitchen. Wtf did I get myself into. I am considering applying for a business loan to open up an indoor Pickleball facility. I def want to repurpose an existing building with a fat footprint like this old Frys Electronics building that’s sat empty for like three years. That might be too ambitious a size but I am thinking big. So does Pickleball Jungle sound better than Pickleball City?

The 13th Floor Haunted House has finally packed up their shit and left the old Albertsons building and that could fit a lot of Pickleball courts. There’s an old Kmart building but time has forgotten it and that neighborhood has gone to shit but I do want to repurpose existing building to my new Pickleball hangout.

Pickleball Paradise
I used to play a lot of indoor tennis during the winter in the NE where playing outside wasn't an option that time of year. The courts were usually pretty full. I'd imagine in Hot Ass Phoenix there'd be a demand to play sports at a climate controlled indoor facility in the summer and probably anytime it's just too damn hot to play outside.
Like Salmon, my first thought is cooling costs

just got back from playing music with my neighbor. he's got an electronic drum kit so we plugged in with headphones and backing tracks on his laptop and muted the drums and bass. we slayed some ACDC, Iron Maiden, and Danzig for like 3 hours. i blew another power box though because i forgot to switch the voltage from 115 to 230. friggin sucks.
