I've been to festivals where people have died. I kinda try to avoid events where people die. Burning man you know there will be a few casualties. Not expecting electrocution but this is crazy I believe most larger festivals we have attended there has been at least one casualty. I was once told by a guy who ran security for major festivals, years back, that the first day of a festival is always the worst because people tend to overdue it the first night because they're so happy to be there, or whatever. He said that usually the most OD's happen on the first day. They are mainly drug related deaths though, offcourse. I remember the 2nd rothbury, someone dumped a body in the porto potties that were right by where we were camped. It was fucked! |

I’ve never had any interest in burning man. Every person I’ve ever heard talk about it has been insufferable. We get it. You went to Burning Man. THIS! Most of the burners I've met have been dweebz who won't shutup about their experiences at BM. Honestly it sounds like a pretty lame time. I've been saying it here for years though, give me a festival with music over whatever BM is. Also, I understand there is music at BM but that is not what the festival is centered around. Being in the dessert with a bunch of trust fund babies, tech nerds, and the upperclass elite does not sound like fun. |

I remember at All Good one year a car trying to leave early ran over a tent with a girl inside it. Not great.

That was the end of All Good
And the Start of me watching where to camp and where car pathways are. It's horrible but I think all festivals changed how they handle car camping after that

The camera on the broadcast right now is super clear^ Earlier it was super dusty out there and you couldnt see shit....
This is definitely a bucket list item AND a pipe dream...lol *shrug*

I checked that link about an hour after your first post and it looked like a traffic camera during a wind storm on a desert highway - bunch of blobby and fuzzy lights moving around. Looks a lot better now.
