i liked reading the harry potter stories. interesting, new concepts, easy to read. good train books
certainly more meat to the LOTR series
my son started reading them in the second grade.. i was so proud.. no way in hell i was reading a book that big in second grade.
i have the directors cuts for LOTR. we watched it all two NYE ago.. good times

anyone else enjoy that Harry Potter weekend? i caught a bit of Half Blood Prince yesterday. Snape is the shit. one of the best characters, if not THE best character of the series.

for sure it is. Harry Potter movies are just fun movies and shit. Lord Of The Rings fans are older dorks that probably play Dungeons & Dragons and shit and like wish every night that they wake up as an elf or something.

Lotr movies edge out hp their 3 beats their 7
Books hp hangs , lotr is great but the language in hp is more relatable and gets more advanced through out the series
(Child to young adult or what have you)
It's a tie with these books , these authors basicaly kiss their sisters and brothers
