so pumped the wolves got one of the early games tonight. its a struggle bus trying to stay up for the western conference playoff games sometimes.
also lolsixers, filing a grievance over the refs? big time loser behavior.

bad look for philly fans yesterday. when i turned the game on yesterday, it was mid 3rd quarter, i was looking at my phone briefly, someone scored and i could hear cheers and thought it was philly, and then the announcer goes "and Brunson with the basket" lol. knicks fans took over philly. embiid is tired and likely only has a year or 2 left in his prime before he really falls off. i think we can finally say the process didn't work.

I still think the process wasn't necessarily a bad strategy. They could have executed it better. They had some bad luck with where and who they picked (they could have had Tatum or De'Aaron Fox instead of Fultz and Brandon Ingrahm or Jaylen Brown instead of Ben Simmons and SGA instead of Mikal Bridges), but without it I'm not sure they aren't a similar version of the Nets.

Fun fact, and sad in the end, too, but Sam Hinkie, the orchestrator of the process, is from my town. He had an older brother, Bill, who was my brother’s age and that dude hung out a time or two at our house during elementary school days. They moved out to Oklahoma at some point and sadly, Bill took his own life at 18 or 19 I think. From what I’ve read, he doesn’t discuss any of that publicly. |
