I really want to do the fest and the sphere. I was hoping to do NYE as a surprise but it’s not realistic so close after Christmas and not planning ahead.
I’m finally done paying back all the money I borrowed from my fam when I wasn’t working many hours for my bro and now I should be good to do what I want.
The fest is the weekend of Dave’s oldest 16th bday. And we are due to have the kids that weekend. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to talk him into going (and I know he should be w his son, really) but I’m sick of missing phish for his kids birthdays when we don’t even have a normal blended family. It’s like we’re roommates (or worse) when it comes to the kids and really weird. We’re working on it but it is not fucking easy. Anyway. We’ll see.
