We got about an inch of snow overnight. I got up at 6am and spread some salt around my property. Handled it myself without calling in my minions.
After receiving countless pics of my WNY brethren battling the elements I felt like less of a man so I had to do something.
"Me fight snow too!"

We couldn’t handle the freezing cold tundra of hot ass Phoenix so we decided to road test Ladyrice new Bu and drove over to San Diego for a glorious beach day yesterday and we’re gonna go to Balboa Park today before hitting the road.

Yesterdays beach day was magnificent starting with an excellent parking spot on Mission Beach and it wasn’t too crowded and the sun came out and we were in heaven!

Still getting monster waves in CA? not too monstrous but lifeguards were yelling at kids to not go out too far cuz of the undertows that can sweep you off your feet and out to sea. We splashed around and built a dope sand castle and ate our leftover pupusas. |

I'm supposed to be at work. The house is only ten minutes away but there are several hills with double digit gradients and an inch of snow. I made it up the first two steep pitches but my tires were spinning and I was only halfway up the mountain and I chickened out and turned around. I think the customer is coming to pick me up in his truck.
Sending vibes to everyone at work. I hope the heat stays on and no one has to stand up for a prolonged period or lift anything heavy.

We went to Mission Beach which is pretty legit. La Jolla is nice and the waves are small so that’s great for kids but parking is scarce and we used to love Ocean Beach because it’s been stuck in time since 1969 but last time we were there it was overcrowded with crusty gutterpunk homeless kids and I’ll admit was a bit scary and a bum fight broke out so I decided on no more Ocean Beach for us. That place used to be so awesome.

Me n Ladyrice saw the most awesome fireworks display at Ocean Beach this one Fourth of July and right after the professional fireworks are over the amateur ones start exploding everywhere and then as tradition the Annual Marshmallow War of Ocean Beach kicks off and marshmallow violence is usually painless. We were just talking about those preGPS days stick in a weird loop in Point Loma trying to get back to hotel circle. Ladyrice said “look there’s Rosecrans and theirs Nimitz!” and I totally knew she was referencing that night lol

The winter before we moved to Fl it was cold as fuck and we got a bunch of snow. There was a week where temps were 40 below with the wind chill and places were opening late and closing early and business were super chill about people not coming in.
Then two weeks later it was the same and everyone was like, fuck it. You survived the last time, get your ass to work.
My brother is a garbage man and he’s still out there working. THAT’S who I feel bad for.

My supervisor said my office sounded like a TB ward on Friday and about 1/4 of the office was out sick. I've been coughing like a dog who just got back from the kennel and is about to make some kids very sad. Finally started feeling better yesterday. This shit is narsty |

We’re pretty close with our cul de sac neighbors and all of our kids are bffs. My neighbor started feeding me cocktails so now it’s turned into a cul de sac party. Happy MLK day
