Is this a new venue? Looks pretty cool.
Can you really bring your own food and alcohol to shows on the lawn? That's what the website says but I have serious doubts

Wolf trap was built in 1966. Burned down in 82 and rebuilt in 84. You can bring a cooler on the lawn. It's a sweet place to see a show.

Yes, you can bring your own food and booze in but there is no wookery. Place is on Federal land and they don't fuck around. It's in an affluent neighborhood and is frequented by real Chads and Karens. Regardless its an awesome venue.

Yeah I was going to mention that coolers people bring are more likely to store champagne and charcuterie than a 30 pack of natty.

Sounds like Ravinia in IL.
People bring candelabras and caviar/champagne. Sweet place to see a show though.

Phish played Wolftrap in 1993, which seems preposterous now. I saw them for the first time 10 days later in Richmond. I still haven't seen 5 of the songs they played that night at Wolftrap.

Before I dropped $ on Rick Wakeman tix I'd want to know if he's performing with or without cape?
I'd also go see Bebel Gilberto whose first album I really like and probably be the closest thing to a wook there, but I love her mom, so...
