Do you drink it? Do you think it's "disgusting?"
As an old man, I think convincing people, primarily under 40, that tap water is "bad" has been one of the greatest con jobs in my lifetime.
Also, living in area with lots of people from all over the world, most come with the preconceived notion that drinking tap water is completely verboten.
Enjoy your mountains of unregulated water bottles in the landfills.

One of the best things about coming back from Florida was, our tap water
The tap water down there sucked. Up here it's glorious

There are lots of places in the world that have great tap water! Unfortunately, I don't live in one of those places any more.

The water is so hard here that I got a filter for the shower head because the wife said it was screwing up her hair.

Mine goes through the refrigerator's filter, but I consider that tap water. It's insane to me when I see my neighbors hauling cases of plastic water bottles into their homes.

I've travelled all over the country for work and some places just have shitty tap water. I use a filter when available.

www.hydrologicsystems.com/products/tall-boyI have one of these under my sink and a splitter so I have clean water downstairs for the plants too. Before that I had a screw on hose end filter and have used reverse osmosis systems. RO systems are super wasteful.

My tap water is great!
Flint's wasn't for a while. That really shook people all over Michigan. Lansing is one of the first cities in the USA to eliminate lead water lines so I'm in good shape.

This subject makes me think about the billions of people world wide that struggle to get clean drinking water. These are the people that suffer most when Americans with good tap water buy energy-intensive bottled water. I'd venture to guess that the bottled water companies aren't improving the situation for people in countries without access to clean water.

I do the 5gal jugs. I don’t trust the water where I live, there was an airbase in my town and a lot of PFO/PFAs in the ground. Lots of links to various cancers in tenured residents. They say it’s just the wells, and transfer safe drinking water to our township from another municipality but I don’t trust the pipes. I should probably just move

i don't think my tap water is disgusting but i do filter it because its hard water.
do you guys get the little crusties on shower heads or sink faucets? or the appearance of a dirty glass straight from the dish washer after it cleaned? hard water can suck it.
