NLQP posted that there are now river otters in the quarry lake. THIS. IS. AWESOME. I can't wait to go there this summer and hopefully see them!!! We get them in the central CA river systems in the winter and spring. I think they may be invasive, cute, but invasive. |

Ben woke up with a sore throat & low grade fever so I kept him home from school. I'm going to make some chicken noodle soup for dinner which is an all-day project. At least we'll have leftovers all weekend & hopefully Mike and I won't get this funk.

Framed up a new run for the chickens today. Gonna wrap it in chicken wire and put a roof and gutter system into a rain barrel tomorrow. Also need to build a door too. Legs is excited that I made it tall enough to walk upright inside  |
