Agreed, the orange unis are just awful
Defense looked decent again, only allowing one tuddy against Houston well take that
And the question we had all year, o line got exposed...7 saxks??? Ouch. Williams showed slight progress, despite the 2 picks.
No run game is not doing him any favors either, that said on to indy and BEAR DOWN

the orange unis would have looked fine with their blue helmets. with the orange helmets though, too much orange.
also packers stealing a dub with Malik freaking Willis. i think everyone and their mother thought the colts would kill them. turns out Anthony Richardson is ass.

Chicago Bears fans really bother me these days. I love listening to sports radio but it can be unBEARable after a Bears loss. I am not making any sudden judgements based on week 2 of the season with a rookie qb under center. It's amazing how bad Justin Fields and the O-line looked his first 2 games of his career but everyone wanted to suck his dick and say he's the future, yet Caleb struggles bad his first game, looks ok in the first half his 2nd game and everyone is so quick to call him a bust. I'm gonna give it to week 14, if we are still talking about the same problems in week 14 then we can have a talk about "bust" or this team having some major issues, but after 2 weeks and the whole season ahead of you, all of these problems can potentially be fixed, or at least have a band aid put on them to give Caleb a chance to succeed. I hope these dumb Chicago sports fans STFU and let the season play out. if you look at the league all offensive stats are down, maybe that's because training camp has been cut in half the last decade. I'd give it time, there's no way this stacked offense is going to be this bad all year.

the bears need a new O-line. hard to judge a QB when he never has time to throw.

the bears need a new O-line. hard to judge a QB when he never has time to throw. The O-line is in shambles, no doubt, but again, it's week 2. Defenses will always be ahead of the offenses this early in the season because of the shorter training camps. The Bears O-line was riddled with injuries in camp, meaning they didn't get a ton of reps together in pre-season games. They need to get healthy, they need to get reps together and they will be fine, not great but fine. I always say to my girls, "Patience is a virtue" and in this day and age it seems to be a lost art. I'm beeing patient.

I see the trend, I just think people need to recalibrate to more realistic expectations

Who's ready for some Andy Dalton football? The Red Rocket rises again(gross). Bryce, we hardly knew ye. idk when it became a good idea to throw rookies into the fire on day one after everyone saw Mahomes kill it in his first year as starter (also sat for a year), combined with Stroud last year. these GMs now think that the QB they draft should be a franchise level starter from day 1, and if they aren't they will draft the next guy. see cardinals drafting Rosen and then Kyler then the next year.

It's the only financially viable model to win other than the Rams model, which hamstrings the team for years after.

I see it both ways. When they changed the pay structure for first rounders and first round QB's stopped getting monster contracts (Bradford), it makes it much easier to pull the band aid off and start over like with Rosen and now Bryce Young. That can save a year or two of rebuild time. However, if you are throwing a rookie into a terrible team situation and expecting great results, you're probably a fool. Sometimes it's clear that you made a mistake, sometimes you cut bait and end up with DeShaun Watson instead of Baker Mayfield.
