Y'all are soft. Come get you some Washington DC humidity. That being said, fan was replaced, it was down to 80 when I went to bed and chilling at 73 when I woke up. First decent nights sleep in three weeks.

Summer here has been relatively mild. Usually August is when it gets hot as fucking balls though. We will see.
We are heading up to the Upper Peninsula in 6 days to hang at Fraziers parents lakehouse. Sounds like it will be a bit of a wook out. Frazier is basically giving us the basement because we are coming with the chillens. I don't think i've seen the guy in a decade and i'm looking forward to seeing some other mutual friends who will be there too. Gonna spend some time in northern Wisconsin after the weekend too, before heading back home.

Ween dropped the new version of Chocolate and Cheese and the album sounds better than ever and they have “new” Ween songs and I heard they are in fine form for live performances again. I’ve been worried sick about Deaner but he’s gonna be alright.

My power is out. On the bright side, the storm that knocked the tree down also knocked the temp down. So it's been nice outside and Ive been drinking beers on the porch but now it's getting dark and I'm getting bug bites and I haven't showered since the morning bike ride and I want to watch TV.

I think the owls are gone. I haven't seen or heard them in probably 2 weeks. I'm glad they set up shop for a while, let me listen to their hoots and screeches and squeezed the blood of their prey on the side of my car.

That storm that rolled thru looked f'in knarly and I actually got a warning on my phone. We only got a ton of hard rain for a bit and some lightning but I'm sure some places nearby got pounded.

Yeah I was out on the porch and then saw the trees thrashing about and thought I should go in. Then the power went out, and it cleared up pretty quick. My buddy just called and asked me to come down to the lake house for a drink because they have power. I'd like to chill with him for a few while we wait, but also don't feel like going down there.
