One of my neighbors was killed last night when a tree fell on her house. I didn't know her but I drive by the house every day. She was only 36.

Not sure. My neighborhood is in the woods on the side of a mountain. Not a big mountain, but a mountain. Apparently the soil layer over the bedrock is pretty thin and we have trees go down all the time. Two of them fell on my house maybe 10 years ago but I got lucky and only had minimal damage. I have some others that should probably come down but don't have money to get it done. A lot of people up here probably in the same boat.

That's for a 2 bedroom.

And we still have to beg people to pay the rent. That's sewer, water and trash. Plus the yard, it's a big Yand Less than a block away from the ocean. And we maintain it and keep it nice to the best of our ability. |

Hello to you All...I have missed all of yuuz!
I havent been around but I had a lot going on...mostly excruciating pain, but Im on the mend now hopefully....
Out of the hospital yesterday from surgery I had on on Tuesday....FINALLY! I LIVED! WOO!
Anyway, doing well and on some decent drugs due to my insistance...I had abdominal surgery and they tried to give a fucking Tramadol after they took me off the morphine drip the first day. I cried and told then that wasnt going to do shit and spent the day in terrible pain unil they figured that out....took till 4am the next morning before I got relief...ridiculous...but the rest of the time everything was great...nurses, docs, etc. Had lots of visitors so that was fun afterward and many coming over this weekend and next week to hang out while Im laid up.
My son lives like 2 minutes away so he's been dropping by and bringing me stuff and checking on me. Im good as long as I have the right pain meds in me, but I can move at all if they wear off. Definitely trying to stay on top of that. ...getting to be slightly high for a little while is fun if I have to go through all this pain..lol
I hope everybody is doing great...I have some back reading to dooooo!
