Tycho live band in the cave last night was an amazing time. Such a chill vibe and great to share the experience with some good friends. I've been a fan since 2000s and my friends mostly know the music from me playing it. It was great to hear the live band. In studio I would almost always categorize it as classice downtempo(ambient) electronic, like boards of Canada etc. But live they sound like a synth heavy post rock group. The cave setting was such a special place to see the music.

I did a garlic parm cream sauce with spaghetti and shrimp and it turned out awesome. Next time I need to add a little lemon juice, more salt and pepper, maybe a tiny pinch of cayenne but it was still really good.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard Live in concert was a real treat and I really enjoyed my experience. They are masters at what they do and they pretty much did it all. The first five or so songs were all metal and then they brought out the deejay table and got real weird with it and then they just jammed some really great songs and I loved the show! Never miss Gizz anywhere near your hizz and even travel for em they are fucking great!

I hope I can wake up at 3:00 am for no reason. Mission Accomplished! My dog now gets out of bed in the middle of the night, every single night. Saturday morning we went out at 3 and then for a walk at 5. Today we went for a walk at 4:40. Miraculously, my wife never wakes up when the dog gets up. |

Guy across the street with the giant Trump banner moved away. New guy runs a gas leaf blower for hours on the weekend. This fucking genius bought a house in the middle of the woods and is just out there being pointlessly annoying blowing leaves around on a windy day.

After my neighbor retired he would spend hours and hours outside with his leaf blower. And we do not have a ton of leaves. I suspect the sound of blowing leaves in his driveway was better than the sound of his wife indoors. |

To add to the leaf blower stories, my Mom’s neighbor is a youngish fella, good guy, but he does some OCD same time every week, seemingly every other day at times, leaf blowing. Hot ass summer, in blue jeans, no shirt, the whole backpack leaf blower stylie. How do I know this? Because my Mom tells me ad nasuem about it.
One of my neighbors slowed down on it, but homie used to wash his shitkicker truck religiously all times of the year and would use his leaf blower to meticulously dry the whole damn thing, every last inch. And like it was mentioned, I believe part of these two guys reasoning is to just get out of the house and get some sort of peace. 🤪

So I’ve been in the dog house a little bit since I went to King Gizz gig last night cuz I went solo and quite honestly I fucking love flying solo to concerts as I always have an amazing time and don’t have to look out for anyone else or their merch and I can stay til the end or bail early it’s on me I like that. But at first I got us three tix to Gizz cuz Riceboy is 12 today and I figured King Gizzard as his first live concert experience would have been super badass but he had a slight fever yesterday and Ladyrice wasn’t all excited about the gig and suggested I go it alone. So I did! I exchanged our 3 tix in the balcony for my section 3 row 14 which turned out to really be like row 4 and perfectly elevated spot and fuckin A what a show I’m glad I went but got home after midnight and got the stinkeye from Ladyrice and then this morn I wake up and me n Riceboy go to Bosa for the dope ass donuts for his party today cuz that’s what we been doing instead of birthday cake and it’s fun and so I come home and bang out a good two hours lawn choring it to get the ricepad ready for this 11am start time party and go get the pizzas from Costco at $70 not bad at all and air fry the wings and we entertained like 25 people and now everyone is gone and I can chill and get high but it does seem Ladyrice is a bit disappointed in me opting to go solo to Gizz instead of stay home moping like her but no ragrwyztsky y’all that show was fucking disgustingly sick
