I like the new trey stuff. It's not always my style on the face of it, but man, the message he sends of seeing yourself through, love in the face of hardship, personal transformation and gratitude, without coming across as pushy or preachy, just a gentle reminder that recovery and personal rebirth, in whatever context, can be done. I really love that for the story of phish, trey and the phans. I know it resonates with the people that need to hear it.
I also want to hear some dark nasty jams after being reminded that everything is right...

Stories like his, and the few friends and other artists I see that turn to recovery and unlock a new level on life gives me hope for myself and friends that I know are still walking the edge.

I had a great time, although I left my car keys at the venue. Good thing I've got a three day pass and live close enough to the venue that its not a huge issue.
That was one of the best shows I've seen them play, I had a great time despite being really bummed out earlier. Being able to vape inside pretty openly helps pass the time too.
