I'm a fan of fries and gravy. With that I'll pour it over the fries. Ketchup is for dipping and like others have said, it's reserved for weaker fries.

I could talk about french fries all day. Some are better plain. I like McDondald's fries plain. I prefer the new Burger King fries with ketchup and not because they're bad, I could picture dipping them into vinegar. Potato wedges as pictured earlier, I prefer a good processed cheese sauce for. And brown gravy with fries--- heck yes. I'm definitely a dipper as opposed to smothering, unless we're talking ranch fries with mozzarella and bacon, they were meant to be eaten with a fork.
But winner winner is fresh cut and deep fried drowned in malt vinegar.

They used to do that at this pool near me. So annoying but that's the only time Ive ever had that happen.

I've seen it happen occasionally, it's a rare type of evil though.
With sweet potato fries I like a chipotle or sriracha mayo sauces

I really don't like ketchup. Maybe once every 5 years I'll eat fries with it. I never use it as a topping for anything that's for sure.

dont like ketchup or mayo. sounds nasty to me.
currently i make very spicy fries cooked in coconut oil yummy.. i mix steak fries, and two types of krinkle cut fries. lots of spice
or sometimes i bake shoestring fries in the oven, once again very spicy.
i do enjoy sweet potato fries but not always as much as reg fries.

French Fries are one of my favorite foods ever. Only 3 months until I can eat another one.
Ketchup 4 lyfe. Chinese mustard and ketchup is fantastic together. Sriracha & ketchup is pretty good too.
