One thing has been bugging me about everyone who visits Chuck's house...
why the hell do they get out of their cars and empty their pockets of phones and watches and stick them in the mailbox? Why not lock that shit in your car? What if some shady kid across the street from Chuck watched that once or twice, he'd have a damn nice watch collection by now. Makes no sense.

I think the point of Kim's big event and recovery to the greater Saul plot will become clear in the coming season. It does appear we have seen the last of Chuck, but I've been burned by thinking that before.
I thought the season got a lot better as it went. TBH, I think much of the improvement was the result of minimizing Mike as the season progressed. I still love Mike on the whole, but I haven't enjoyed his character or the set-up for him in BCS. I say: less Mike, more Taco!

IMO, it gets SO MUCH better as it goes! like, if we treat BCS & BB as a single show, I think BCS season 1 is the weakest of all seasons, and season 2 of BCS is 2nd worst. But, this last season of BCS is actually as good as the best season of breaking bad. I think some of that is me adjusting, and some of it is Gilligan adjusting. He clearly wanted to make this a more slow, deliberate burn, and that's cool. But, there were kinks to work through. He has worked through them, and I've gotten used to them. and now we know the BCS specific characters, Kim and Nacho mostly.
So, DPB, pick it back up. I think you let it go just as it starts to really get good.
