One of the most impressive cinematic long shot sequences I’ve ever seen was the beginning of Season 2, episode 8. It starts with an extremely realistic southern border checkpoint with what must be a drone shot swooping over and keeping eye on the frozen popsicle truck as it gets redirected to the search area and seeing other vehicles crossing the landscape as the drone pans behind the vehicles being searched and seamlessly goes to steady cam of the truck and the driver etc. Vince Gilligan huh. Wow!

My wife has this thing about watching serialized tv shows. She's the type to binge and not wanting to do that prefers to watch a movie instead to resist the temptation.
I watched El Camino w/o her and she felt a bit left out, so I re-watched with her.
Last night I didn't want to get stuck watching some B-/C grade rom-com so I put on the S1E1 of BCS and we wound up watching E2 as well.
Still too early to tell, haven't read this thread or any reviews, so all I know is that some old faces from BB like Gus and Hector are going to be showing up. Also that the show in general has been well received, so I'm doubting I'll be disapointed - Saul was a favorite character among many. Kind of expecting a slow-burn (plot wise), character focused show. We (the royal we) shall see. Assuming I get control of the tv at night which is a bit harder with my in-laws being here (still). Maybe that'll keep us down to an episode or two a night.

Planning on driving they Albuquerque on my incoming road trip.
Burning thru Breaking Bad. Don’t think I’ve seen the first season since it originally aired.
Definitely hating Walter much more immediately this time. Prideful Bastard.
Trying to have more sympathy for Skyler...we’ll see how long that lasts.
Grew up with my fair share of Hank-esk male role models in my day.
