Very disappointed in the sequel to Angel (1984) with this silly ass Angel 2: Avenging Angel (1985) whereas the first one has a creepy sleazy vibe this one just goes so completely hokie and corny like with stupid sound effects and they waste like 25 mins with the new Angel trying to break her old pal Kit Carson out of the loony bin while dressed as a nurse and it was ridiculous and it’s not a serial killer in this one it’s a dumb gang of middle aged suit wearing henchmen to a dumb mafia boss and the end is some Weekend at Bernie’s bullshit and I’d be pissed if I was a 1985 movie theater goer or if I had a paid subscription to the Roku Channel.

For the first time?! (Then again I've never seen ET) I've also never seen ET. It strangely didn't seem to get played much on the big channels and I don't remember watching it on VHS.

It's seems like most of the horror franchises started getting too silly around then. Nightmare 4, Halloween 4 are two that jump to the top of my mind.

I just finished watch Glory, solid flick. Apparently it's the only movie Denzel and Morgan Freeman have done together. That cast is absolutely loaded. The battle scenes are fucking great, bloody as hell and nobody feels "safe".

Bullet Train just gets more ridiculous the longer it goes on. It started okay but then it just is trying too hard to be extravagant and stopped being relatable or believable.

I've watched through all of the OG Planet of The Apes movies and they're all pretty solid. It's crazy they managed to make three movies AFTER blowing up the Earth at the end of the second movie (Beneath)

I watched Tenet last night, pretty cool action movie but it's definitely a little hard to follow. It makes more sense at the end of the movie but that's a lot of commitment to ask of people. It's not as engaging as Inception or The Prestige, definitely one of Nolans weakest movies to date but still very worth watching.

I also watched the movie Yesterday...yesterday and it's one of the most logically confusing movies ever made. Some of the universal choices are fucking insane and have HUGE implications which just aren't mentioned at all. It's a fine romcom but it's baffling.

I started watching Tenet also but we had to pause it and my wife has no interest in finishing it.

It is way too complicated. I did not enjoy What's so complicated about a temporal pincer movement? (Jk there is SO much going on) What an insane phrase.
