Finished Peter Jackson's "They Shall Not Grow Old" which is a compelling documentary of the highest order about WWI. It is mostly made from colorized footage and recordings of veteran's accounts of what they experienced. It doesn't get much more direct than that. War is hell straight from the source. No fluff or Hollywood aggrandizing for an Oscar.

Watching a Hindi movie Padmaavat and it's really good. 13th century tale of love and greed. Free on Prime, definitely recommend. Oh them Bollywood beauties, so hawt want to touch the hiney š Frieda Pinto in Slumdog - Holy F! |

Watched the first 96 minutes of Casino and that first hour is perfectly paced with the dual narration from deNiro and Pesci and the scenery and cinematography is masterful and such a powerhouse cast with an amazing and beautiful Sharon Stone and a great sleazeball James Woods and itās every bit the masterpiece that Goodfellas is except nothing tops Goodfellas but Casino is a very fine film and Scorsese classic must see and repeat views are worth it.

I watched Sweet And Lowdown last night. Sean Penn and Samantha Morton are very good and the rest is run of the mill Woody Allen shit. Pretty good, but not great.

I watched the new Mortal Kombat. It was a movie... For real though it did actually start pretty good. They went over the back story of all the characters and there was some drama but the second half of the movie was just fighting and then that was it. There was no after story no epilogue. It just ended.
