I watched Ghost Rider at work, it's a real 4/10. Sam Elliott is awesome, of course, but the rest of it is really tacky. Nic Cage is really underselling all of it, it's definitely a weak Cage performance. Doesn't seem to connect with the character at all so the whole movie is sort of lifeless. Ghost Rider is still a cool ass character, always will be. I never saw it but I remember this funny story from several many years ago when a coworker told me she had seen Ghost Rider over the weekend and she was telling me about it but she forgot the title and she was like “I think it was called Bone Head” and I lol’d when she told me that. I’ve got today off and just wrapped up Land of Bad (2024) starring Russell Crowe as an Air Force drone pilot and a couple of handsome Hemworth bros as special forces dudes that get in over their heads and Russell Crowe is shooting missiles from the drone to save their beefcake asses. The jungle also looks good and the violence ain’t half bad.

Now I’m watching this one called Sprinter (2018) about a Jamaican track n field star that might be based on Usain Bolt. I noticed it’s produced by Will and Jada Smith. So far it’s kinda boring so ima probably switch to another movie. Still kinda pissed at Will Smith for that slap to Chris Rock but I’m not trying to hate on this art due to the artist.
I’ve got time to watch another movie today. Was thinking about The Bikeriders but someone here said it was lame right I don’t know I might give it a shot. Or I’m gonna watch Goodfellas again and make some sausage n peppers.

Well I finished The Bikeriders and it started out great with a Goodfellas type narration from the wife of the biker dude but it wasn’t all that great however it did inspire me to wanna drink beer and ride a motorcycle. Ladyrice said “Fuck No!” in her text back about the motorcycle but I did drink two beers during the movie. Lagunitas a Little Sumpin Sumpin IPA. Got a decent daytime buzz goin on a fine Friday today.

I liked Abigail. It was a fun, campy bloodbath. A bit like M3GAN but a lot more blood.

I watched The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx and it was good. It was kinda like war on terror fluff and I'm not sure how accurate some of the historical background is but it was a solid work with regards to the writing, acting and directing.

Watched Ghostbusters Frozen Empire with the girls. Wow. Didn't that movie f'in suck.
Hopefully it killed that tired, washed out franchise.

I watched Invictus last night and unfortunately it was pretty boring. It gets better towards the end but it doesn't feel like Clint Eastwood or Matt Damon were the best picks for the part. Damon's accent is pretty weak and Eastwood isn't exactly the first director that jumps to mind when I think of who should cover Nelson Mandela. Morgan Freeman was very good in the part.
