Watched Ghostbusters Frozen Empire with the girls. Wow. Didn't that movie f'in suck. Hopefully it killed that tired, washed out franchise. Glad to see I'm not alone in my distaste for those movies. They're just so disappointing. |

Watched Rebel Ridge on Netflix, it's worth a watch. Some cool action scenes and a pretty, different setting. Don Johnson is really good.

We watched Abigail and it was decent bloody gorefest and yeah kinda like Megan but lots of blood spatter and I’m sure Abigail 2 is in the works.
We watched Tremors and that was dumb yet fun.
Thinking about watching Beetlejuice but I could take it or leave it. I kinda wanna watch this one about kids getting locked inside a Spirit Halloween store and scary stuff etc but it’s probably very bad.

I watched Dune (1984) last night. It's not bad but some effects are really shoddy. Patrick Stewart is awesome as Gurney. It's definitely a David Lynch movie, there's some weird ass shit in there for a major movie.
Fear is the mind killer.

The Raid 2 is on TUBI, for those folks who don't mind subtitles and like kick ass action movies.
You dont need to see the first one at all. A fantastic sequel.

I watched Sugurra last night and just wow. Easily one of the best mob movies ever. It's Italian with English subtitles and is about politics and corruption in Rome. Five stars. The story tracks a fixer pitted against up and coming gangster rivals trying to secure a big property development deal.

Just watched Bubble, interesting, very small movie. All of the actors are locals with no real experience. Soderbergh is such a talented director. Such a workhorse.

There are some plot holes but it's not crappy nostalgia bait so it worked well for me. Jenna Ortega ruling the weird girl world.
