We'll talk about Assnectar in another thread. I don't lump anyone with anything. I just think he's very overrated. That's just my opinion and it's fun to rip on you for sweating him. Lorin seems like a solid guy, but his music doesn't do it for me, and his fan base...yeah. But this is the movie thread. I'll rip on Bassnectar somewhere else. thats the thing, you literally have no idea what youre talking about when it comes to his fanbase. you sound like someone whos totally clueless and just acting like bassnectar fans are your average skrillex fans. that is so far from the truth people arent "following the party" with bassnectar. were all there for the right reasons. bc lorin fucking demolishes

I saw Jupiter Ascending recently. I'm a sucker for this kind of sci-fi so I dig. My only complaint is that it should have been longer, I feel like the scene's occasionally hopped from one to the next making it seem like some kind of transition was left out.

I finally watched American Psycho. I liked it pretty well but the end could have been just a little less ambiguous.

Did you come away from it with a newfound appreciation for the music of Phil,Collins and Whitney Houston?

Been catching up on Ang Lee this week. Always like his stuff but had not seen Life of Pi or Brokeback Mountain. Saw both and really liked both.

Watched Ant Man out of boredom and not having anything else interesting to watch. Always thought Ant Man was a stupid superhero with stupid powers who was very uninteresting.
Liked the movie. They did a good job with it, it was quite entertaining. Would watch an Ant Man 2.

I finally watched American Psycho. I liked it pretty well but the end could have been just a little less ambiguous. I love the movie and the book is a great read too. Brett Easton Ellis writing has him switching from first person to third person in the same paragraph and odd incomplete trail offs. I have never read another author that does that. It works well for this story.

Half watched 'Caprocrn One' on the iPad while getting some work done. A good, post-Watergate government cover-up story of a faked Mars landing, complete with Telly Savalas piloting a biplane being chased by Black Helicopters. Haven't seen it since I was kid and it was always on HBO.

Saw "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" last night. Had no idea what this was supposed to be about before I saw it. Actually a pretty funny/good movie. Also a serious side to this flick. Would recommend...

I watched Ravenous with Guy Pearce last night. It was kinda ridiculous and awesome at the same time. The soundtracking could be described the same way.
