Wally - While I see your point, it's not an apples to apples comparison. The leader of the Catholic Church at no point mandated that raping altar boys is necessary and part of the faith. I get that the Catholic Church has done plenty of wrong over the years...just like just about every other organization of people.
Are you ashamed to be an American because of the atrocities committed over the years to natives, third world countries, etc?
