Honestly, I don't know why I'm so quick to defend the Church anyway. I barely ever go to Mass these days, I don't buy a good portion of the dogma, I don't agree with the Church's stance on abortion, birth control, homosexuality, etc.
At this point, I'm just chillin' with the coolest pope of my lifetime, maybe ever.
Francis is my homeboy.

The church is a near antiquated notion but the most progressive form of christianity imo. But that's pretty much like being the world's tallest midget.

Not sure I agree with me. I'm not sure I can think of more progressive protestant churches but to say the Catholic Church is progressive doesn't make much sense.
When I think of Christianity I tend to think of born agains, so in comparison I think it is more progressive.

Right on. Some Protestant churches have accepted gays and a lot of them allow women to be ordained. Not so in the Catholic Church.

Being in colorado, there are about 7 Mormons that I work with. One reports directly to me, all nice people with 1 husband or wife...
Only a tiny fraction of Mormons even keep multiple wives.
