DJ Aphrodite on February 10th. Then, a long stretch of nothing until Goose in late March. Billy Strings & Flying Frog Brigade are my spring shows so far.

Hitting up the Kitchen Dwellers and Daniel Donato on Saturday. How was the Daniel Donato show? I want to see his band live I'd definitely recommend checking out a show. The fall show was really good, played pretty much straight through. they are all very talented. made for an interesting kitchen dwellers show, as they had to keep up and as a result stayed away from most of their straight bluegrass tunes. he sat in with the kitchen dwellers for a good portion of their 2nd set. Also saw him on saturday, opening for greensky. this set was short, 45 min. Was also good just not as intense as the previous show. donato sat in with greensky for 2 songs in the first set. both were good. He seems to be picking up popularity and getting on quite a few festival bills. |

next shows for me are larry keel & john stickley on st. patricks day, and then cabinet on 4/21. Few maybes in between.

I forgot that Alison Krauss & Robert Plant tickets went on sale this morning. Of course, it sold out and there are a shit ton of verified resale tickets available. I hate this shit. It sours me from even wanting to go to shows anymore.

I havent jumped on anything for this season. Claypool gets my spidey senses going, but 30+ shows with the frog brigade and he cant stop in Cincy?
Rick wakeman is also touring not close.

I have air bnbs for St Auggie Panic but no tix. Ill get them closer to time. I dont have anything else planned. Thinking Panic Red Rocks as a week late bday celebration.

I have a ticket for Les Claypool's FFFB and am thinking I'll buy a ticket for UM since they just announced a Buffalo show.

We’re going to this ‘festival’ in Miramar Beach in April.
Black Crowes, Jason Isbell, Marcus King, Trampled by Turtles, Avett Bros.
A bunch of others that are meh but it’s like an hour from home and we got a sweet beach condo and a babysitter so I’m STOKED. Black Pumas were supposed to play too but they cancelled.

Tix to jrad next Sunday secured. Might hit Friday too. Wooo! Still need to track that atl billy show for a cheap ticket. Then panic Fri and Sat at the end of a week long beach vacation. March is gonna be a hoot! Then del in tha cave for a waterfalls. Wildflowers and bluegrass weekend in April fingers crossed. Year started off slow but it's ramping up!

Next weekend looks like I can't make it to twiddle or UM.
Seattle gets the good bands but it's 2 hours away, can't swing it all the time.
Or WSP vegas I was considering.
My consolation prize is local jam band night in town. Oh well I'll take it.
