Had to DEEEtour due to some trump racist blue drive by parade to go out to the creek/river
To many folk,
Drove down to the old rage park part of creek river
Great lil river walk n splash, quickvisit with mama n papa dpb
Indoor grill sesh. Fire pit rage with flame color change packs thrown in

sitting here eating fried Halibut, listening to the Monkees Christmas album and will be meeting up to throw some disk at 2:30 then party a bit and watch Christmas movies. oh yeah!.
good times!
spend the rest of the weekend hiking, biking, disking and artistic painting and more Christmas movies and music.

Tonight, Mandalorian then Mank. It drops today. It’s the movie David Fincher put Mindhunter on hold to make. It’s about the guy that wrote Citizen Kane.

Chili tasting and beers with my parents and thier new pup tonight. We made a beef and sausage batch and my mom is bringing a chicken batch. Getting a space hike/run in first! I'm sure I'll be an interesting character come dinner time, lol.
Chilling with wife tomorrow and traveling Sunday.

Lil dudes bday weekend , ferd n ferdling the 3rd coming over for dinner with the latter stayin for a sleep over
We researched a local bowling and alley and were able to reserve socially distanced lane for a couple hours tomorrow
Then tomorrow night a Nickelodeon grand prix tournament with wee ones and hermosita
Dinner with folks on Sunday
Going to be nice fun celebration weekend

gonna do some snow hiking in the woods somewhere. just got some new gear from Woolx, my wife and I got 400 weight merino wool base layer. got to give it a field test. We got some new hiking boots as well though I may use my snow boots depending on where we hike. My try some disk golf. there is light snow, a frozen layer and then lots of snow. and I think the disks will just slide on the top layer. should be fun

I really need base layer bottoms, I only have a part synthetic thermal and the elastic is pretty weak(they are old) so they are falling off of my ass, lol, I had to tuck my upper thermal and my sweater into them to keep them up when i was in illinois. |

Rain hike today, hopefully a longer hike tomorrow but not sure where, then play it by ear. Hopefully whatever decisions I make allow me to hike again sunday. Which would be 7th consecutive day hiking.

i have some synthetic stuff. definitely switch to Merino wool if you can. I like it alot better. its is pricey but I feel worth it, especially if you are disk golfing or some other activity where you dont want to be bulky. Not sure yet how it holds up but what we just got is real thick and solid feeling. thinking it will last a while if I dont fuck it up washing or drying it wrong
bamboo is pretty solid, silk, while the comfiest is pretty flimsy.

3 day weekend for me too, literally just found out this morning.
playing some poker tonight with the dudes. tomorrow watching the packers game, and depending on how much i drink will determine how the rest of the day goes lol. but regardless watching all of the playoff games, best weekend of football IMO is divisional weekend. then monday i'm not sure, have no plans for the day off.
