Just crushed iron fist believe it's immortal 7 cities of heaven tourney
Just finished ultimates as well great stuff not a big avengers guy but that was real good
Now blowing through volumes 14 15 qnd 16 of invincible
0 fucks given this is my favorite comic ever and I am sooo ok if they cast the rock as a Llen the alien lol
Ugh man that movie is not going to live up to an ounce of the series but I'll still be there

Strictly Marvel. Started Venom. And still rolling with BP. They cancelled WoW and The Crew. Low sales, but poor marketing strategy again. They were going places. They also fired X-Gold artist. Something about marvel beIN run by Jews he says. Real crazy radical he was.
The Crew new version did not feature Josiah X (a Muslim character) overruled by higher ups.
Priests 4 volume run on BP was just put out. Highly suggest that..
Interested in recent Moon Knight, and The Inhumans a little bit. Loved Ellis's 6 iss run on Karnak

Been peeping some of Kirkman other offerings
Gauridiano of the globe was ok, sid e characters just don't hold up as they do in invincible
Science dog was a fun Lil read, and from what what Lil I've rea dB of the if of thieves I dig it
Need to get more invincibles in me
My buddy has been raving on sex criminal , so funny when he told me about calling the library for that one
Should of picked em up in a trench coat lol

Went to the shop first time in 4-5 months got up to date on BP..
They had some signed Stan Sakai Usagi Yojimbo books.. I may go back and pick up, not sure though. Maybe a three issue volume

Yup picked up a recent 3 issue Usagi Yojimbo run and an omnibus volume of Space Usagi, Senso and Yokai.. the issues are signed and the volume is signed with a Ronin sketch inside cover..
Two other issues still there may make a detour Monday and pick em up they r fun reads..
Guess he flew in from Tokyo for some conventions with Kevin Eastman and stopped over here unannounced to visit Peter Laird(tmnt) and just went into the shop and signed everything as a friendly gesture. Nice guy

I don't love reading stuff digitally but it's SO much cheaper.
I might make the invest in a kindle for it. I dig what Marvel is doing right now. The Secret Empire stuff is surprisingly well done.

As far as expenses go, anything I don't like the shop will take back in a trade or cash to sell used, and the stuff I do keep I'm really planning to upsell in the future.. that's how I generally do with books and music as well...

And I thought marvel is kinda beIN panned for their mismanagement? Good stuff, but they cancel stuff too early and generally interfere creatively?
Black Panther has gone off the rails for a lot of reasons but only I'd say last 2.5 issues hope it comes together again. beIN forced into two spin offs right off the bat due to success of 8 issues was a mistake, watered down the narrative. But that's not only problem

Mostly for making Cap a nazi, but it's pretty well explained in the story. They do drop shit way too quick but they're also doing a lot to mix shit up and bring in new heroes.
DC's new stuff is also supposed to be pretty interesting but I've never really read their stuff.

Graphic novels are by far the kids' favorite thing to read...gets a lot of the ones that have been turned off to it back into stories Some from my room...they are always checking them out...They esp like Missile Mouse...  |

On a certain day I can make the argument that DC is stronger than marvel mostly due to 90s Vertigo, (and my bias towards my early Supes collection).. but I like Marvel for the characters, the origin stories, and specific runs have their strong ass moments.
Currently do any marvel books hit the high notes that the best books out there do? Imo, no.
Still read em all the time, and the little kid inside my mind always gravitates to their shelf first..

I'd agree with that outside of The Vision, that shit was REALLY good. I'd like to get more into DC just don't know a good starting point.
Have you watched Preacher at all? It's been really well done and I know that was a Vertigo property.
