Those are mildly subsversive moves that only that character can get away with..
Not the books problem if it gets made into a bad Robert Downey Jr movie

I dug Civil War, but it was a lot more Cookie cutter than the book. Not nearly enough tension and death, people were dying left and right in the comics.
It's a shame Marvel sold off their rights to like 3 different studios. It hampers the storytelling so much.

I'd agree with that outside of The Vision, that shit was REALLY good. I'd like to get more into DC just don't know a good starting point. Have you watched Preacher at all? It's been really well done and I know that was a Vertigo property. Only a couple eps. Was awesome.. No I know marvel puts out amazing stuff. Smaller secondary characters have had crazy awesome runs lately.. Vision, Moon Knight, Karnak, Venom and Mockingbird, Squirrel Girl(lol) and on and on |

This season has been awesome too. I think they did an amazing job casting that series.
And yeah, those secondary books are really something. It's a shame they can't get it going all across the board. The Champions is a cool team book.

I would like to see Marvel come back as a heavyweight, but as a caveat if you do start heading to the shops I definitely wouldn't have them be your singular focus..
The other publishers and indies are cranking out some real gems.. almost every title I see out there looks amazing even if it doesn't get the publicity a marvel title does..
Bleeding Cool and I09 are good resources and follow some of your favorite writers, those folks always rec good unheard of titles. And the dweebs behind the counter are the best!

Just finished Nemesis, MPH, Super Crooks, all millar all fucking bad ass
Think I have ultimate spider man, watchmen and a few other things comin from my buddy
Gonna pull the trigger on invincible 23 and 24 (comes out the 26th) and then I'll be all caught up there
Been couple months need muh fix
I'm getting more interested in writers, though I do love a great artist, leinil yu is one of my favorites right now

There's a new cell phone game out called Contest of Champions. It's basically a side scrolling fighting game a la Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter but with all Marvel characters. The gameplay is a little too simple, but it's kind of addicting anyway.
