I was getting little bugs on my hibiscus and my roses leaves were getting chewed on pretty hard core. I made a soapy water spray to see if that helps. On the hibiscus they look like tiny green worms or eggs. They then turn into like a hexagon shaped bug of some type. Really tiny.

started juicing greens from the garden.. yeah! been using spinach, red leaf lettuce and turnip greens( i like to use them cause they are high in calcium)
garden just radiated lushness.. spent hours just standing around staring at the various plants, flowers

my strawberry patch is really producing this year.. quite tasty.. i was watching a robin eat my berries for a while. i dont mind sharing. so many golden raspberries on the early crop plants.. cant wait for that.
first spinach is almost done producing.. have to switch to kale at some point this week.
finished my leaf project.. hauled 14 giant bags of leaves from my brothers house and covered all the space between the food.. should reduce weeding and adds matter to the soil. worth the effort i think.

Yum. We are out first strawberries yesterday. I think next year they should really produce. Got probably about a qt of blueberry starting to get blue. Not bad for a little bush I planted last year. And my raspberries look like I'll have a shit ton!

I made a planter out of tree trunk of a black locust the power company cut down. (On our side of the line and without warning. You should have seen me going off on these guys. That is another story...) I'm behind and have only planted two sun sugar cherry tomatoes and a zavory pepper. I have onion sets and a lettuce mix too. Might round it out with a few more peppers and some herbs. I also might plant some snow peas in another spot.

spinach done.. my second planting bolted before it did much,.. got 3-4 weeks of spinach out of first planting, juicing it everyday.

My best sunflower snapped at the stem. Tried to prop it up against the bush. We'll see though.
