Not as good as it used to be, but Outlaw Country on Sirius/xm is a crash course on the good shit Has it fallen off? I used to really dig that station. I'd second a bunch of these above. If you like Ween, even remotely, you should check out their country album. Their backing band of Nashville players were called the Shit Creek boys. Lol. It's still good, just a bit more automated with the same ol Waylon tunes over and over, and The Chris Stapleton, Sturgill, Zac Brown types have gotten a hold there so it's not as East Nashville as it was. Kidrock songs once in awhile

This guy's recent album was good. Promoted by Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale a bunch.
Buddy Miller's Majestic Silver Strings worth looking at too. All standard country tunes but with Bill Frisell and Marc Ribot on guitars

I love Chris Stapleton. I also love the steeldrivers. Of course my man Sturgill too. All the basics. Merle, Johnny Willy Waylon.
I like Zach brown band too. And two Eric church songs.

I'd be remiss if I didn't post Jerry Jeff Walker. Don't listen to much country anymore, but this threads bringing up all kinds of names. And JJW is one of my favorites..
