So if I want a bitcoin I have to pay 20k? Yeah om good I'll stick with drogas and dominoes Actually better idea. Go find some on a hard drive and take it. Then itโs all yours and no one can prove it.

damn son trading at 23k now! at this point i say we see 30k before we ever see 10k again for BTC. i felt that way before it crossed the 20k threshold yesterday, and now its just pumpin. Dudes on the radio this morning said thoughts are it might be at 100k by end of 2021. I've read a lot articles online from crypto experts saying the same thing. I sure hope that's the case lol. DPB, you don't have to buy 1 whole BTC unless you have those type of funds to invest. You use a brokerage similar to stocks, some popular ones are coinbase and kraken. Then you deposit/buy BTC, for whatever USD amount you want, or whatever cryptocurrencies you want. Its an investment vehicle while doubling as an online currency if you want to use it.

I'm also back in my coin wallet that I invested in years ago... that particular coin crashed and hasn't gotten back to the price I bought at but I still have about $100 worth of it. I also cashed a small portion to play with on other coins.

This stuff is whack.
I just sold old computer parts for a good chunk of money because data miners are buying up all the hardware.

It's not fake. The blockchain is tangible, it's just computerized instead of a physical metal.

The result of bitcoin mining is twofold. First, when computers solve these complex math problems on the bitcoin network, they produce new bitcoin (not unlike when a mining operation extracts gold from the ground). And second, by solving computational math problems, bitcoin miners make the bitcoin payment network trustworthy and secure by verifying its transaction information. When someone sends bitcoin anywhere, it's called a transaction. Transactions made in-store or online are documented by banks, point-of-sale systems, and physical receipts. Bitcoin miners achieve the same thing by clumping transactions together in โblocksโ and adding them to a public record called the โblockchain.โ Nodes then maintain records of those blocks so that they can be verified into the future. www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bitcoin-mining.asp
