has anyone looked into this or are currently investing in crypto-currency? bueller??
the whole idea intrigues me. and when i was talking to this guy last week who has been investing in it for years, he says the crypto market is about to explode exponentially in the next 5-10 years from everything he has been reading about it in the last year.
also have heard rumors about countries eventually switching to crypto-currency down the road in our lifetime...
thoughts? don't care? WTFO instead....(always a good option)

I'm generally too lazy to go to the ATM and get cash, pretty sure I'm not switching to bitcoin any time soon. Seems like a hassle.

I spelled observative the right way...when you create a word, you can spell it anyway you want.

I think in order for bitcoin to work you need the backing of countries that will accept it. I do believe the price of a bitcoin is fairly high right now though

I am not sure if bitcoin and crypto currency is a good idea or if it will last. I have a friend who has made a small fortune just trading bitcoin.
One thing is for sure. The people need a form of currency that is not interfered with by banks or governments. They have already done plenty to fuck shit up. Making our current financial system obsolete and removing power from people who do not deserve it is something worth pursuing.

its interesting.. just a matter of time before the fiat currencies implode/crash ect. the monetization of debt will not end well
guy in my office plays several of them
needed for doing dark web transactions
my old neighbor has a bitcoin creation system.. requires lots and lots of computing power

thats a funny article when he says The currency isn’t going to work. You can’t have a business where people can invent a currency out of thin air and think that people who are buying it are really smart.
thats exactly what the Federal reserve system did, create money out of thin air and now are monetizing the debt. who is on the hook? we the people, not we who have all the money

i was thinking that same thing lork. funny how a representative from one of the biggest banks in the US, doesn't like bitcoin. if he's smart he probably sees it as a threat.
i'm not sure how i feel about changing the whole monetary system just yet, but i definitely want to research the investing/trading side more and see if i can't make a few bucks on the side. and if it fails then so be it, but its worth taking a shot at now in my opinion.

what I took from that article is that he sees bitcoin as a threat so he talks about it as a big negative.

Yet we still argue about healthcare and people on food stamps. In a system that can create money out of thin air and steal all the natural resources they want no one should have to worry about food, housing or health care.

I do believe the price of a bitcoin is fairly high right now though bit coin is already working. their are vending machines, you can order a kilo of high quality moon rocks and use it to pay. the criminal element often is leaps and bounds ahead of government and what do countries offer in their backing? some kind of hard asset? they offer DEBT read up on the monetization of debt, something the FED said they would never do but have done anyway one advantage of bitcoin is you just cant print as much as you want like some out of control FED propping up a failing nation.. it takes effort to generate i have no idea what the fair value of an currency that is free from open market operations is
