Got a notice in the mail that I'm a victim! I've been victimized and am getting part of a class action lawsuit settlement. I didn't know I'd been victimized. Apparently Hooters sent me an unsolicited txt message almost two years ago, along with 55,000 other people, and somebody sued Hooters over it, so we're all getting either $25 or $50 Hooters gift cards. Who wants to go eat wings and look at boobs? Have you noticed everything tastes like Cheezits at Hooters? Even the chicken wings taste like cheddar jack cheezits. How do they do that? |

My tire got shiv'd this morning! I went to the auto repair place by my house because my tire light came on, as soon as I got out I could hear "ssssssss". He pulled an exacto blade outta there! $20 later it is patched and good to go. Hopefully I won't have to replace the tire (he said I might after a while), I just got these tires this spring.
-I hate driving!

-So much thank you. I'm going to start talking with a counselor of some sort (as soon as I pick one out) to work on coping mechanisms that don't include medication. Yoga and meditation are two things that I really want to try...it's just so hard to find the time... Consider yesterday...I worked from 7-430, got home at 5:15 and left immediately with my son to drive him a half hour to the location of his bowhunter education course. That went from 6-10. Then a half hour drive home...by then I was exhausted...tonight is more of the same, except that I probably have to take all four kids instead of just the oldest because Legs is working. Ferd- I've stayed out of this topic as its not something I have experienced personally or even second hand. But to me it seems that you have too much on your plate, raising a family with a young baby, work, household management (including chicken tending), looking for a new house/property (its been a while since you've mentioned that so not sure if its still something you are doing), volleyball league(s), soccer, show(s), your kids activities (+ coaching), helping your extended family, etc. That's just the list that I can think of from what you shared on here. I am sure I missed some things and surely there are things you haven't shared. When trying to picture your schedule in my mind it seems there is little to no time for just hanging out. My advice is to cut back on some of the things you can and stick to whats most important to you. Hunting season isnt too far away, so perhaps some quality ferd time to think will help you to figure it out. In the mean time if the medication is helping (or even the ultimate solution), no shame in doing what you need to do. Also think a counselor is a good idea, surely whomever you pick will be at least as qualified as us on here. You got this. I think this whenever I read all of ferd's numerous activities/things to do. I'll bitch about being busy and needing more me time but then I see a ferd post and tell myself to stop being such a baby. i have no idea if all those ferd activities contribute to stress or alleviate some of the stress. Haven't walked even a 1/4 mile in his shoes so who am I to say. |
