How fucked up is it to flee the country leaving your children to get arrested. Crazy what a true monster this "man" turned out to be. I was a big fan of Bad Boy Records and the whole NYC rap/hip-hop scene of the 90s and early 2000's, very disheartening to be reading this stuff. Absolutely awful human being!

To flee the country while also releasing a statement saying "Im innocent, don't read anything into my fleeing and leaving my kids behind!" is some real sicko shit. It sucks he's such a shitty dude, it definitely leaks into Biggie's legacy.

I'll disagree with the biggie legacy, this all seems to be more recent Sean to P Diddy shit not puff n early days of bad Boys
He wasn't as rich or powerful back then to get away to do whatever he's fleeing from doing
Sure he prolly pimped bitches back then, but it was 90s n pimpin was as pimpin do

Yeah I mean I grew up on the Bad Boy hip hop stuff, I don't think it will tarnish the legacy of the rappers that came up in the 90's and early 2000s, but obviously the legacy of P-diddler will be tarnished and his brand will be dragged through the mud, and rightfully so but I don't see it diminishing the career of greats like Notorious BIG, especially when it can be argued that P-diddler leached off the success of those greats. He was never a great rapper, but he had the financial backing.

All I know about P Diddy's music is I'll Be Missing You, which is just a complete piece of garbage. I hope it tarnishes that songs legacy.

There's no way to untangle that web in my opinion. Suge And Puffy are both really bad dudes.

I always enjoyed that song, but I was also balls deep in the Biggie/2pac fued back in the day. Pdiddler loved to sample popular 70's and 80's songs in his music and nothing beats the Police classic!

He always presented himself as someone only concerned with his own ego and wealth. Not even slightly surprised he is a scumbag.

I was living in this little shithole trailer park in Davis junction Illinois (not far out of Rockford) around that time. I can confirm that all the little hoodrats were very concerned with the east coast vs west coast nonsense. MTV culture in the middle of cornfields. That was a weird 6 months. I was hitchhiking to Oregon for a rainbow gathering. One of my rides offered me a job for north American van lines and I learned why I never wanted to be a furniture mover.

Some DC brothers I used to work with always thought he was a total clown from his Howard days. They laughed at him and all the cornfield whities that ate that shit up.
