this is wild
Future to me has always meant like post dubstep, garage hybrid, bass music like SBTRKT, Falty DL, early Joy O and stuff like that but yeah i've seen the "future" tag on all sorts of stuff ranging from FlyLo to Four Tet to James Blake so to me the tag is pretty worthless as any kind descriptive measure.

That was pretty neat.
I follow a couple of things on soundcloud that shoot out random tracks and lots of them are tagged future. I find myself ignoring those tracks

I think it's one of those tags that any asshole making music sticks onto their description to make their song appear less cookie cutter/paint by the numbers.
