Yeah...
Mickey Rourke is so over the top in that movie and I cant get into it. I love Sam Rockwell but he gets so little to do.

One time in college as we were starting to come down after eating some tabs someone turned on the TV and Dr. Gene Scott (easily the most entertaining of the televangelists when nothing else was on for stoned college students at 3 in the a.m.) was on, and I distinctly remember him saying "Jesus is like Spiderman." That's the closest Spiderman/tabs reference I got till I see the movie.  |

That is hilarious, Swift. I don’t know much about animation but it feels like that is top notch animation going on but for all I know it actually isn’t in the big scheme of the animation world. And yeah, if at all possible eat a 🍄 or something.

I think the last superhero movie i watched all the way through was the last Spiderman movie, which i thought was good. Couldn't finish dr strange and have really had no interest in wakanda forever or the latest antman movie which i heard sucked. We will see Guardians of the Galaxy eventually but I'm all but over with the marvelverse. I'll pick and choose which movies I watch but I'm not going to be as invested as I was with everything leading up to endgame, it's just not as good anymore. I am looking forward to the new spiderverse movie though. Berg loved the first and i'm sure the 2nd will be solid

Finally saw quANTuMANia. It was good, typical MARVEL fanfare. Weak premise (I didn't tell you this major part of my life during the 30 years i was gone) but overshadowed by the action, humor, and feel good family moments.

Across the Spidiverse was pretty good. Probably the first time I didn't get bored or fall asleep during a 2 hour comic book movie.
