The most unrealistic thing about Spiderman 3 is James Franco sending MJ away because she was drunk and throwing herself at him.

I'm rewatching spodermin with little due. No Way Home is great and holds up well. It's focused, honed in, but also delightfully disjointed. And somber.

Secret Invasion finale was solid. It was somewhere between Endgame and the last Chris Rock special.

The Spiderman series are so weird... it's like none if them really nailed it but there are elements of each that are better than the other ones. First, we have the original series with Tobey Maguire which had an excellent feel to them, but was sort of steeped in the 2000s era; for better or worse. And the "high school" actors were obviously not. Spiderman 1 2 and 3 were kind of soapy, and so is the second series, The Amazing Spiderman, but not as much. Mary Jane in 1 2 and 3 is better than the third series with Tom Holland, but Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy is a more endearing and cute relationship and not as soapy. In the third so-called Home series, it's tied in with the Avengers and Endgame, but the Mary Jane relationship is more slapstick-ish and sitcom-y to fit with the Tony Stark feel.
Willem Dafoe and James Franco are excellent Osbornes in the first series, and Harry Osborne is super emo in the second series. As in, overacted. Let's face it, Dafoe is a legend and his angst fits perfect for an early Marvel comic book movie. Same with J Jonah Jameson. He's perfect and couldn't be substituted, which is probably why they never tried. The Lizard villain is excellent in The Amazing Spiderman but he feels sort of out of place in No Way Home. They knocked it out of the park with that movie however. By introducing the multiverse they cleverly reconciled the three series and put all of the Spiderman actors in the same movie as independent versions of Peter Parker. Enter: Miles Morales.
Let's not forget Jamie Foxx as Electro. That's again where The Amazing Spiderman shines like with Gwen. And the music/score in the film with Foxx is awesome and completely fits the electric theme, and theres plenty of it because it was the longest film so far. The weakest characters are Spiderman and Harry Osborne in "The Amazing" pair of films.
People love Tom Holland because he's the "official" Spiderman in so many other Marvel/Avengers films... but is he the best Spiderman? Is Andrew Garfield anyone's favorite? That puts Tobey vs Tom, but is that a fair comparison considering the surrounding support in their respective films?
My honorable mention is Sandman. That's a villain who was not a one dimensional character. The way they wrote him in at the scene of Uncle Ben's death felt a little wonky but it still played well in the end. And Marisa Tomei is everyone's favorite Aunt May for obvious reasons: she's gorgeous.

That second Harry Osborne was terrible, a distraction for me when watching his scenes. Maybe that dude went on to bigger and better things or maybe he didn’t. I really don’t know. Those Spider Verse movies might be the best of them all. Can’t wait for that next one.

I got back on the Marvel kick watching Spiderman with my boy and for nostalgia. That led to rewatching Infinity War and Endgame, then The Dark World and Ragnarok, and now I'm finally getting around to finishing Loki. Somehow I got sidetracked on it. Ragnarok is probably my favorite standalone Marvel movie. It's a lot of fun and definitely has the best intro scene out of all of them, culminating with "Immigrant Song".

He was a hot up and comer before ASM, he had big roles in Chronicle and A Place Beyond The Pines.
