This is an innovative and emotive use of a Talk Box (a la Peter Frampton) with a pedal steel guitar in 1964. Not only is this a great early example of new musical technology, but once again showing golden age country music at the cutting edge of new sounds just like the fuzz bass on Marty Robbins on "Don't Worry" from 1961.

Now for our Reverb.com market update. Fuzz pedal average used sale prices are down -3% compared to this time last year. The Data Corrupter by Earthquaker Devices is down -4% and the Fulltone Octafuzz is down -2%, but the Death by Audio Fuzz War average price is up 4%.
EHX is raging the used market with all four top slots of pedals under $100 going to various models of the Big Muff Pi: the OP-amp Reissue, Green Russian reissue, classic Big Muff Pi, and the diminutive Nano Big Muff.
The multi-muff reigns king for average used price over $100 going to the JHS Muffuletta. Number two is a staple in the Zvex Fuzz Factory. Keeley's Fuzz Blender takes the number three slot and finally Chase Bliss Audio has their Brothers pedal claiming the fourth spot.
Thanks for tuning in and stay fuzzy my friends.

EllisD I thought that was a Bk Butler clone but it looks like it's designed after the Ibanez TK999. Interesting. Behringer makes decent stuff for a good price. Probably sounds awesome. Heres a video about some of their circuits that has that pedal at like 18 mins in.

There's another local musician around here who works on amps, and we often trade labor, so I fix his pedals for him. He just gave me an Ibanez TK999US to repair. I opened it up, and it is the same patented BK Butler Tube Drive circuit with an extra control for mids instead of just bass and treble. It sounds killer. He thought it was broken but the input and output jacks are reversed compared to normal pedals so I think he might have just plugged it in wrong. Anyways, I want one now... The tube crunch you can get out of it is incredible sounding.

so basically what im saying is that Behringer pedal is indeed the same as a BK Butler/Ibanez TK999 and therefore has a high probability of kicking ass.

That Wren and Cuff dude knows his Muffs. The Pickle Pie B is my #1 Muff Pick for bass. It is the best bass fuzz pedal there is. Yep I said it.
