lol, I always run from Alan (the guy from I had a good night) when I see him out taking pics.
Sounds like a fun time, though. I wouldn't have been able to come. I hosted my family for Easter this year. Where is Brass?
Also....the musician's name is Danny Schmidt or something like that. It's not house music though. It was a small little show at someone's house. Just that dude and his guitar.
I met some dude that was telling me these house concerts are like a big thing for some people...theres a whole circuit. This dude I was talking to was going down to SC to play one.

I realize there are board spats here. That is to be expected with all social media I suppose.
While I don't use the Phantasy Tour I have used panic freaks over the years.
On panic freaks you are either ignored or posted about in some sort of disparaging fashion so its a lot like Twitter in that sense. I assume PT is the same.
I must say, hands down, Jambaser's are so much nicer and pleasant and supportive of each other than the others sites I have used.
Yeah you guys win the music message board easily!!

I was out on our lovely walnut street walking bridge this past weekend juggling and walking and listening to tunes.
I ran into my buddy Rob who is age 60. He is an old dead head. Great guy, very nice and always on the level.
I asked him. So do you have any better luck than me in this city when it comes to trying to find dates and such?
He said, well, when I lived in New Mexico I can definitely say that I had alot more dates there than I have had here.. I said is it because you find more bohemian, hippie, artist types? He said yep.
Around here they are all divorced and love country music and Jebus. Oh Jebus Chrhist!! I really hate the south and if I could find a job that pays enough and I can stomach it in a more progressive city then I would be down with leaving this shit behind. I am so tired of the backwards ignorant south. Many things to love here its just the overall climate of Trumper's and bible beaters. The Roy Moore's, & Arpaio types. (pardoning that piece of shit makes me choke on my own rage)

Ms. Freedumb and I are diametrically opposed in lifestyle, but we sort of keep each other grounded. And have found all sorts of commonalities, and frankly it's fun to annoy each other about whatever. Try not to be so close minded, and you'll find most people aren't really so different after all. It's hard to embrace a place and people no matter where you are. I've got Trump voting friends and family and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, cuz at the end of the day theyre some of the few people that make up your personal community and all told are kind, caring people. They're not nazis despite what the internet tells you. A narrow, ideological worldview is no fun 24/7. And at the end of the day, just tell em theyre a fucking moron to their face, it's freeing and it'll help em to hear it

Denver fucking blows. IF you want traffic and overpriced living in the middle of nowhere then by all means... i really hope you ski a lot.... IF you just like Crappy Metropolitan conglomerates go to Denvver but i reccoment you visit first. West coast slays colorado in hunnies and every other category. if you wanna change you life head all the way to the promsie land dont stop hald way like a bitch. Visit colorado for skiing, and remind yourself how much more it sucks just to exist out there than the west coast... Colorado aint progressive at all Compared to the west coast.
Dont listen to that Denver Slave

lol @ booming economy. All that means is when people have more disposable incomes they go to restaurants and gas statiosn more often, when really the class structure has not changed at all. Teres your booming economy.
Hey... you can get a job at a weed dispensary for 15 an hour lol.... and not even make a dent in your cost of living. plan on working over 50 hours

I'm in as progressive a place as it gets in a deep blue state, and I can't tell you the number of liberally minded people at their cores who have lived here 25+years who'd numerous times say they'll vote republican or just roll their eyes etc at the overall sniff my farts liberalism batted over your head here constantly. The annoyances of ALL PEOPLE are always there.
We can't live with each other anymore, and all this escaping to ideological enclaves is cowardly bullshit. And here's the kicker, we're all a bunch of douchebags

Diametrically opposed in lifestyle? EXACTLY!!! She is an artist. Her mother votes GOP so she does too. She won't watch the news cuz she hates it. She votes like Mom does cuz they are close. I was the same I am now. She was not going to camp, hike, or see a festival. I like all that. We got along fine I thought. She let me go citing that we were not working out. The part that really sucked was her doing so after I gave her a nice diamond ring. A month after she accepted the ring she let me go and kept the ring. That is just wrong IMO. I'm certainly not close minded. Working at a NPR station I hear 24 hours of news a week and when the GOP does something good I will applaud them. I pay attention maybe too much. I read the paper M-F and I read news websites too. I stay informed and I am always willing to hear what everyone has to say and in the end if I disagree, well at least I took the time to listen.

If it's a problem of personal experience deal with that. It'll never be solved by constantly blaming the outside world.
"Goddamn these factors outside of my control!"
"Try not to take it so seriously."
"Actually, it's inner conflict within myself and my own choices."
"Ok then."
Can't get started if you keep moving the starting line a few feet in front of you

It's interesting, working in gov't at the moment, at least on the local level, the divide here on long island is much less real than how it looks from the outside. The administration I'm working for is headed by a liberal dem but his chief of staff is a republican, a Bloomberg republican though but his deputy is also a republican. There is a good mix of ideologies here and it leads to a lot of internal debates on policies and programs but at the end of the day, positive things have been getting done. I would like to believe that a lot of other places are the same way. And frankly, what I'm seeing here now is that the extremists on both sides are being sidelined by the more reasonable people. or maybe I'm just living in an echo chamber and losing perspective, the county we're in went Trump though.

The entirety of human civilization enrages me, but why let it get to ya..
Idk what else to say. Maybe people use the internet to just bitch constantly, but it's just not that bad. There are people living in shanties made of shit who are more content than Americans.
Plant a tree. Give your house to a homeless person and stop caring about money. Don't give diamond rings to chicks that don't love you. All that hippie horseshit

The tax cuts give me a whopping 20 dollars more per pay check. Isn't that special?
Do I feel its made a difference in my life? Would you?
I am just ranting out loud; not at anyone in particular.
Seems that is what this thread is for anyway. Its time for me to head into the box and listen to news for 4 hours. See ya folks! Have a good weekend too.
