40k plus 7k shipping for that room full of unidentified percussion instruments? Let me get my checkbook. The only cymbals that I can recognize in the pics are on beginner's end of the quality spectrum, I believe.

Yeah that always kills me when people say they have high end gear but you can't see any detail because they shot the pictures on a Nokia

I love this on Craigslist, here is a picture of my garage, in the back shadows is a bike hanging upside down, above the lawn mower, $5,000 please. ....or here is my house on Realtor.com, I took the pics on a flip phone with no lights on.

I spent about 45 minutes trying to isolate why I wasn't getting a signal. In the end everything was set up exactly the way it was to begin with. Same cables and all. That's frustrating.
I'm pretty sure it is this custom sky boost-witch burner combo pedal. It was in the chain the last time it happened and I put it back in there on Sunday after not playing it for months.

I love the sky boost. I didn't really care for it when I first got it. In hindsight, I had been playing and comparing all my pedals on the micro terror. That thing is freaking loud, so I would leave it at low volume on the amp. Besides using it at a low volume, it doesn't break up like the rocker 15 does. Well, if it does, I've never had the clean up loud enough to find out.
So, yeah. I've been keeping the clean at 5/noon on the amp. Even at that volume it will start to break up slightly with the Strat volume on 10. Back to the sky boost. Love it. It has way more boost than the Icarus. I was using the maroon Icarus for umph with the micro terror when I first got it. At first I didn't really understand how the boost was useful to me as someone who doesn't solo besides a little extra dirt on top of my signal.
Now I'm loving all three of them. I have the white Icarus set full volume, no gain, tone at noon for a clean boost. Sounds great for cleans, subtle break up, or to push other pedals, some way better than others. I was pushing the black russian pharoah with it last night and oh man. I keep the maroon Icarus at about 10:30 on all three knobs for a gritty boost. Sounds so good pushing the amp into break up or boosting the gold haymaker. The sky boost I've still been tweaking and experimenting with. I'm considering buying another one since this one seems to be acting up.

Higs what is your pedal doing that's funny? Not connecting Yeah. There was no signal going in front of amp. I assumed it was that pedal. The input and output jacks are loose and the output will push the cable out occasionally. So I pulled those cables out and put them back in it still did it. Then I engaged the switch fir the sky boost and it had a faint signal, but only at full volume. Same thing happened when I engaged the other switch for the witch burner.

The jacks aren't loose because the nuts are loose. They are worn out or the clips that hold the cables in place are not latching onto the cables well. The cables push in and pull out without much resistance. The output is worse. That pedal isn't fastened to the board, so if it gets bumped or a another cable moves or something, the output cable slides out just slightly. I think that is what is happening. When I got the faint signal from the pedal in question, I don't remember if I tried any other pedals before I tore the chain apart.
