I need some direction. Some discipline. An objective. I plug in and just fuck around. It's fun, but I'm not learning anything new. I play the same progressions and just tweak the effects. Again, it is fun.

my older brother asked me you want to start an acoustic duo ? i was like nah wanna start a rock band? but then i was like acoustic duo huh? we have like 30 covers down and 8 originals. just having someone like my well prepeared brother waiting for me makes me practice , and he will know if im not prepared. its nice cause it gave me some direction. we are doing capos and working on harmonizing well.

So, this thing is awesome. It sounds great. Unfortunately the switch for the reverb seems to be faulty. It randomly drops the signal completely or cuts it way back. You have to switch it on and off or tap it to get it to come back on. Annoying.

Maybe it's just another cable.

It also drops the signal when it's not even engaged. Really annoying. Is this even possible? Maybe it's just another cable. I threw away two more of those pig hog 6" low profile cables. It wasn't even the one that is likely causing the issue with the other board. It happened again with a different array of pedals. I replaced the cables, didn't need to see which one it was, and threw them away. I have other pig hog cables in 3', 10', and 20' and they seem very rugged. The little flat patch cables are junk, though.

Send me a pic of the insides when you get a minute I was fairly buzzed the last night that I played it and was having the issues. Since then I've been playing with a different set of pedals on the micro and I had the same issue. So, I need to swap out the rest of the shitty cables and see if the problem persists with the reverb pedal. I'm pretty confident it's just the cables now. I was too buzzed and convinced myself that it was the switch. Hopefully.

i got called for an impromptu gig at a yacht club but i didnt have my speaker cab so i used my noisy old acoustic amp from the 70s. never gigged with it before and it went pretty good. it needs a recap and is pretty hissy so i turned the treble all the way down and it was pretty much dub as heck.
